1. Scope of Work

  1. Isolate and disconnect existing bathroom plumbing fixtures including taps, shower, toilet, vanity, and bathtub (if applicable).
  2. Cap off services as required to facilitate demolition and renovation works.
  3. Install new hot and cold water supply lines to new fixture locations as per approved layout.
  4. Install new waste and vent pipework to suit new fixture positions, ensuring compliance with AS/NZS 3500.
  5. Fit-off and connect new fixtures including vanity, basin mixer, shower mixer and rose, bath (if applicable), and toilet suite.
  6. Test all new connections for leaks and ensure proper function of all plumbing fixtures.
  7. Ensure waterproofing areas are protected and plumbing penetrations are adequately sealed.
  8. Coordinate with tiler, electrician, and cabinetmaker for sequencing and penetrations.

Materials and Fixtures

All fixtures and fittings shall be as per the client’s selection schedule. The plumber must verify specifications and compatibility before installation.

Where fixtures are not yet selected, provisional allowances should be noted.

Compliance and Standards

  1. All work shall comply with the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA) and AS/NZS 3500 Plumbing and Drainage standards.
  2. Plumber must be licensed and provide Certificate of Compliance upon completion.
  3. All new fixtures and pipework must meet current WaterMark and WELS certification requirements.
  4. Hot water system connections must be tested for correct temperature and pressure limiting devices.
  5. All penetrations through waterproofing must be appropriately sealed with approved collars or sealant.

Testing and Commissioning

1. All new water and waste pipework must be pressure tested for leaks before enclosure.
2. Fixtures must be commissioned to ensure correct flow, drainage, and temperature regulation.
3. Toilet cisterns must be adjusted to correct flush settings and checked for water hammer.
4. Final inspection to confirm no leaks, drips, or incorrect falls.

Coordination and Site Conditions

1. The plumber shall coordinate with the builder or site supervisor to ensure correct rough-in and fit-off timing.
2. Access to mains isolation points, roof space, and subfloor (if applicable) must be verified prior to works.
3. Site must be left clean and free of rubbish at the end of each workday.
4. Work shall be completed within the agreed timeframe: [Insert Date Range].

Exclusions

1. Supply of major fixtures unless otherwise stated.
2. Modifications to hot water system unless specifically noted.
