The Team Behind a Better Renovation

Meet Brent and Justin

At the heart of our business are two people who know renovations inside and out—because they’ve lived them, professionally and personally.

Brent is a qualified carpenter and licensed waterproofer with hands-on experience across residential construction. He specialises in bathrooms and takes real pride in getting the details right. Customers appreciate his promptness, professionalism, and the respectful way he works in their homes—because he knows that every project is personal. Justin is an engineer with a background in managing large-scale infrastructure projects like tunnels, power stations and ports. He’s lectured at university in project management and finance, and has started several small businesses along the way—including cafés, consulting firms, and property development ventures. Together, Brent and Justin have renovated multiple homes of their own. They understand the stress and uncertainty that can come with dealing with trades—especially when it might be your one and only renovation. That’s why they’ve teamed up: to deliver a renovation experience that’s organised, honest, and smooth from start to finish. They’re here to make sure your project is done right—and that you actually enjoy the process along the way.

Our process

Quoting

Before visiting your site, we gather detailed information to prepare an accurate, itemised quote—we aim to provide it before we even leave your property.

Design and Planning

Often a forgotten step but extremely important it includes finalising specifications and contract documentation, arranging QBCC insurances, assigning staff and subcontractors, project management setup, and procurement of fixtures and fittings as well as risk and hazard management (e.g. safe work method statements)

Demolition

Involves carefully removing existing fixtures, fittings, and finishes to prepare the space for construction, with a strong focus on safety and minimising disruption. All waste is managed responsibly, including sorting and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations (e.g. hazardous materials), ensuring a clean, compliant, and ready-to-build site.

Rebuild

The transformation begins, where any necessary carpentry is carried out to modify or repair non-structural walls, creating the correct layout for your new bathroom. This phase ensures the space is properly prepared for the next stages, with all framing, supports, and adjustments completed to meet design specifications and building standards. Click here for more detail

Rough-in

Involves installing all essential services behind the walls, including plumbing, electrical, and ventilation systems. This critical phase ensures all connections are correctly positioned and compliant before walls are closed up, laying the groundwork for a functional and safe bathroom. Minimising changes to layouts, even small changes, can reduce the cost of the rebuild and rough-in stages.

Linings

After the old surfaces are removed and the plumbing and wiring are in place, we install brand-new wall and ceiling linings to give your bathroom a fresh start. We use moisture-resistant materials designed for wet areas, carefully fitted and smoothed so they’re ready for waterproofing, tiling, and painting. This step sets the stage for a beautiful, long-lasting finish you’ll enjoy for years to come.

Waterproofing

Before any tiles go down, we create a watertight barrier to protect your bathroom for the long term. Our licensed waterproofers apply specialist membranes to floors, walls, and shower areas, sealing every joint and corner. This prevents leaks, protects your home from hidden water damage, and gives you peace of mind that your bathroom is built to last.

Tiling

With the surfaces prepared and waterproofed, it’s time for the transformation to take centre stage. Whether you’ve chosen intricate mosaics, bold feature patterns, or sleek large-format tiles, our skilled tilers handle each piece with care and precision. We work with you to select the perfect grout and silicone colours, as well as your choice of trims—whether discreet plastic, elegant metal, or the smooth sophistication of bevelled tile edges—for an opulent, seamless look. The result is a bathroom that reflects your style and stands the test of time.

Fit-off

With the tiling complete, your bathroom is ready for its finishing details. This is when we install your carefully chosen fixtures—sleek tapware, stylish basins, statement lighting, heated towel rails, and mirrors—each positioned perfectly for both beauty and function. We ensure every detail, from the alignment of fittings to the polish of chrome, is immaculate. The result is a fully finished bathroom that’s not only stunning to look at, but a pleasure to use every day.

Painting

Once the construction and fit-off are complete, we bring warmth and character to your bathroom with a flawless paint finish. Using premium, moisture-resistant paints designed for wet areas, we carefully prepare every surface, ensuring crisp edges and even coverage. Whether you’ve chosen a soft, spa-like palette or bold, contemporary tones, our attention to detail ensures your walls and ceilings look immaculate and stay beautiful for years to come

Final Cleaning and Handover

Before we hand over your new bathroom, we give it a meticulous final clean—removing every speck of dust, polishing all fixtures, and ensuring tiles, glass, and mirrors gleam. We walk you through the finished space, checking every detail together to make sure it meets our high standards—and yours. You’ll receive any relevant warranties, care instructions, and compliance certificates, so you can enjoy your bathroom with complete confidence from day one.
